What "placed on breeding terms" means?

I have explained this so many times, i thought it would be a good idea to write it in here too.. ;)

As in Finland, there really aren't much "kennels" at chinese crested dog breeders, but the breeders keep all the dogs and bitches living in same house than she / he is living.. (Of course, some dogs / bitches can be co-owned and living at private families or at other breeders)

Every Finnish crested breeder i keep in touch with, uses this system.

So the system itself.. When bitch is "placed with breeding terms" it means that breeder can have one litter from the said bitch. Then after the litter, the bitch is property of the family, where it was living "with breeding terms" and breeder no longer has any rights towards it. All this will be done in written contract on a form that Finnish Kennel Club has created.

I personally always list these "breeding terms" bitches on this page, like they would be my own. And the persons they living with are listed as "co-owners". Then when the bitch has got the litter, it is removed from this page. But you can still find information about them -> Litters by us -> select the litter's own page -> click the name of the said bitch.
