"Nipsu"

Nipsu was offered to us when her previous owner needed to get rid off some of her dogs (She later on called and asked can she buy her back!!) By then Nipsu was placed with breeding terms to Antti Karppinen's parents and we knew she would have forever home with them.

Due to lack of experience about grooming and there wasn't any help available either.. we must have been looked really funny in the show rings ;) So, unfortunately even Nipsu is Champion quality, she never got those 3 CC's for her Finnish Champion status.

More important to us than the possibly titles, is that she was excellent start for our breeding. We unfortunately got only 2 puppies from her, but that was still good start.

Nipsu has been very healthy dog, she is tested clear of her eyes & knees and she never had any health problems.Vet visits only when she got vaccinations etc.

Her pedigree is foundation lines of Finnish breeding and for example her granddad was tested clear of his eyes at age of over 10 years.

28th october 2005 Nipsu passed away. She had infection in her uterus and veterinarian said that she either needed to operated or put to sleep. Tests done before operation gave acceptable success rating. Operation itself went perfectly fine, but while veterinarian was stitching the wound, she died to heart failure.
